A message from your Southwest Chapter President

Greetings Southwest Chapter Members,

The Spring Show season is behind us, and summer is in full swing.

The Sunnyland Festival in March was well attended. The Keels & Wheels Show in April was very successful, and the weather was great. We had a good crowd of visitors both days to see the many excellent cars and boats on display. Heartland Chapter's show in Hot Springs, Arkansas in May was great fun. And I'm told that the WBA's Eagle Mountain Lake show the following weekend had a good turnout as well.

The ACBS International Show in Port Huron, MI is coming up September 13-20. Registration is now open on the ACBS website.

The Lake LBJ Show is scheduled for the weekend of October 10th. We will be back at the Horseshoe Bay Resort again this year. I will send out more information and registration very soon. If you can come early, we will have runs up the lake on both Thursday and Friday.

Planning for next year's Keels & Wheels Show is well underway, and the date has been set for April 24-25, 2027. Start making your plans to attend. I will send out notices when registration opens.

Here's hoping you have a great summer and fall boating season. Be safe out there and remember to stay hydrated … and apply that sunscreen often!
